This song was written from my experiences here in our jungle community in Costa Rica. Recorded and Produced with my creative partners from my home town in San Diego. And then the visually created with local artists here in Costa Rica. We had the beautiful opportunity to shoot our dancers in the Ecstatic Dance Temple of Holos, Costa Rica. This majestic space is nestled in view of the Powerful Diamante Waterfall, the Pacific Ocean, and Mt Chirripo. Home to life changing retreats and events it was an honor to get to capture some of beauty and energy of this place.

Two years ago I began a season of nomadically traveling.
Daily the world around me looked new, but it was the journey within the depths of my own Soul, that transformed my world.
Cougar is a product of that season
It holds the alchemy from my week in the darkness of a cave
From wandering in the desert, from singing with the headwaters
Letting go of Home to Explore Possibility, to give space to comprehend the self, created the opportunity to Commune with the Wild Places.

a Reverie & an Invitation
It was at a pivotal juncture in my life. I could feel the gravity of the journey that lay ahead of me, I felt the grief of what needed to be lost. While seeping in the final heated breaths of summer, from the woods there came a song.
Written within the ash of a campfire and sung to the moon even before she would Rise. The wolves gave me a lesson, we howl to say how are you, how I miss you or I love you. We howl to celebrate. But also, we howl through the pain, through the grief, and in the Rain.
We howl to remember we are not alone, we howl to release and to bring about another Day.
