My relationship with Hana started out with a gift. A hand crafted Mala for my practice. This was special and I could feel the energy, the prayers, the intention that had been spoken over each knot. I had been taught to cleanse objects to start new but this piece had been prayed for before it ever made it into my hands.

The energy around an object as it is being formed matters.

These pieces soon became a favorite token to gift my loved ones as we all moved through seasons of transformation. My teacher had taught me that Malas, when gifted, connect us to one another in our prayers.

Especially as I was moving, creating distance between me and my loved ones, it was meaningful to me to have this token to remind us that we are all connected even though we are far apart.

As we designed each gift, we talked about the alchemy of crystals and how they can support someone on their journey. Her astrological knowledge and the way she can weave someone’s birth chart into a custom piece, the prayers for healing and expansion. We spoke about embodiment and dreamed of pieces that could energetically symbolize someone’s internal transformation. And so we started making more. We started designing pieces for the change makers we wanted to see in the world. We started creating the sacred adornment for the Embodied leaders we wanted to see Rise into their own Knowing. Confident in their Expression.

In return we have gotten to witness the stories of people who are transforming themselves and the world around them. We have gotten to witness aspects of their ceremony, hear the lessons of their experiences. We get to see the way the embody the change they wish to see in the world.
